Motorcyclist who died in collision with parked police car ID'd

Kansas City Police have identified the motorcyclist who died early Saturday after crashing into the back of a parked police cruiser as 34-year-old Ryan J. Jordan.

Jordan ran into the patrol car about 1:45 a.m. on the southbound U.S. 71 on-ramp at Blue River Road. The officer was parked on the shoulder of the road running radar checks. He was outside his vehicle and was not hurt.
