Three die in fire at Rolla group home
ROLLA, Mo. | A woman and two children are dead and four people are injured after a fire at a south-central Missouri home where several developmentally disabled children lived.
The fire was reported around 9 a.m. today about two miles south of Rolla.
Mike Kirn of the Phelps County Sheriff’s Department said the house was a privately-run group home for about 14 people with developmental disabilities. He said the woman killed was the adult daughter of the group home owner. A 10-year-old girl and an infant also died.
