Train kills man in Osawatomie

A train has struck and killed an 18-year-old man in the eastern Kansas town of Osawatomie.

Police identified the victim as Chad E. McMillin of Osawatomie. A news release says police, firefighters and emergency medical responders rushed to the tracks after he was struck Friday night.

The release says the case is being investigated as an accidental death. The investigation is ongoing.
