Asbury man dies in two-vehicle crash

A man from Asbury died Friday after a two-vehicle crash in Jasper County.

Joseph McCracken was 33. He had been wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, a report from the Missouri Highway Patrol said.

The crash occurred around 4:18 p.m. Friday on Route D in Purcell, the report said.

Carthage resident Chad Graham, 27, was eastbound and attempting to make a left turn when he went into the path of McCracken's westbound vehicle, the report said.

McCracken was pronounced dead at the scene.

Graham was not listed on the report as injured.
