Pedestrian struck, killed overnight in Lee's Summit
Lee's Summit police are investigating a crash that killed a female pedestrian late Friday.
The accident occurred about 10:50 p.m. along U.S. 50 and Southeast Todd George Road. The woman was struck by a vehicle that was headed east on U.S. 50. She was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
A passenger in the vehicle suffered minor injuries.
The name of the pedestrian is being withheld until relatives can be notified.
