Accident sends woman to hospital

A woman involved in an accident at Sixth Street and North Grand Avenue Wednesday afternoon was treated and released at Memorial Medical Center.

Charlotte A. Rebbe, 77, of the 900 block of Seventh Street reportedly was attempting to turn left onto North Grand from Sixth Street when her vehicle collided with another vehicle.

The other driver, Lisa K. Tate, 46, of the 5100 block of Crane Drive, was westbound on North Grand.

A witness said Rebbe had a green light when her vehicle entered the intersection. Tate was cited for disregarding a traffic light.
