Truck crashes into car, kills woman

A woman from Phillipsburg died Saturday after an out-of-control truck crossed the center line and struck her car, the Missouri Highway Patrol reported.

Donna K. Lamkins, 67, died in the crash, which happened about 5:36 p.m. east of Phillipsburg in Laclede County.

An online report from the patrol says Lamkins was southbound in a Buick Century when a northbound Ford F-150 lost control and crossed over to strike Lamkins vehicle.

The driver of the truck, 21-year-old Jeremy W. Spradling of Conway, was not listed as injured in the patrol's report.

Lamkins was wearing a seat belt, according to the patrol, but Spradling was not.
