Three people, including a 10-year-old girl, were hospitalized following a head-on collision in Barry County Saturday night.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, Sandra S. Larson, 46, of Shell Knob, was flown to St. John's hospital in Springfield with serious injuries.
Kenneth and Melissa Keif, 33 and 10, both of Washburn, were flown to Cox South hospital in Springfield, also with serious injuries.
A patrol report said Gregory D. Swaffar, 26, of Purdy, was driving a 1999 Dodge Dakota north on Missouri 37 a mile south of Butterfield just after 11:30 p.m. when he crossed the center line and hit a 1995 Mercury Sable, driven by Kenneth Keif, head on.
Larson was a passenger in the Dakota, and Melissa Keif was a passenger in the Sable.
None of the injured, nor Swaffar, was wearing a seat belt, according to the report.
