Teen critically injuries in Overland Park crash
A 17-year-old girl was critically injured today after the car she was a passenger in spun off U.S. 69 near 119th Street in Overland Park.
The girl was one of four people in the car that was traveling south when it veered off the highway about 4:07 p.m. The 22-year-old man driving the car and two other passengers, a 57-year-old man and 50-year-old woman, were hospitalized with minor injuries, according to Overland Park police.
Witnesses said the car left the highway and then rolled before stopping in the grass median.
