None of them was wearing a seat belt.
The Pontiac came to a stop in the center of the roadway.
Stewart suffered from moderate injuries and was taken to Research Medical Center in Kansas City.
He was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
In the Mustang were Jereth D. Schrock, 21, of Garden City; and Emily K. Warren, 20, of Raymore.
Both Warren and Schrock were taken to Truman Medical Centers with moderate injuries in Kansas City. They were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident.
