Pedestrian struck near St. Louis City Hall
A pedestrian was seriously injured today after being struck by a vehicle on Market Street outside St. Louis City Hall, authorities said.
The police department's accident reconstruction team was investigating near Market Street and Tucker Boulevard. The team typically responds to fatal accidents.
Officials said the man was not at a crosswalk when he was hit and that the vehicle did not flee the accident scene.
The man who was struck was taken by ambulance to a hospital for treatment.
No other information about the incident was immediately available.
