Two killed, one injured in St. Francois County crash

ST. FRANCOIS COUNTY • Two people have died after a head-on crash Monday night in St. Francois County, the Missouri Highway Patrol said. A passenger was seriously hurt.

Jacob A. Blum, 17, of Ste. Genevieve, and Judson D. Kimbrough, 53, of Dittmer, were killed in a head-on crash about 10 p.m. on Highway 32 east of Farmington, Mo., the patrol said.

Kimbrough was driving a 2005 Dodge Magnum west on Highway 32, crossed the center line and struck an eastbound 1995 Chevrolet Cavalier driven by Blum, the patrol said. A passenger in the Dodge, Jarvis M. Kimbrough, 51, of Belgrade, Mo., was hurt and being treated at St. John's Mercy Medical Center in Creve Coeur where he was listed in satisfactory condition.

Jacob Blum and Jarvis Kimbrough were not wearing a seat belt, the patrol said. Judson Kimbrough was wearing a seat belt.
