Leawood woman dies in crossover accident

A 75-year-old Leawood resident died in a crossover accident there this morning.

She died at about 123rd Street and Aberdeen Road after she crossed into the other lane and hit a mini van head-on at about 9:20 a.m., police said.

They are investigating why the woman veered into the other lane and whether a medical condition was involved, they said.
