Four-car pile-up
No one was seriously injured in a four-car pile-up on Toronto Road near the Sixth Street Frontage Road at 2 p.m. Wednesday.
Rachelle R. Best, 20, of Riverton was westbound on Toronto Road when her car rear-ended a vehicle driven by Britney M. Brumfield, 21, of the 100 block of West Lawrence Avenue.
Brumfield said she was stopped in traffic.
The impact pushed Brumfield’s vehicle into a vehicle driven by Christina M. Davis, 26, of the 1000 block of Rickard Court. Davis’ vehicle then was pushed into a vehicle driven by Stephen Brake, 30, of the 1200 block of North Third Street.
Brumfield said the accident caused pain to her head, neck and back. Davis said she had back pain. However, both drivers refused treatment.
