Man in two-vehicle accident hospitalized

A 56-year-old man involved in an accident Monday morning at 18th and Jackson streets was taken to St. John’s Hospital.

Joseph T. Davis of the 3900 block of North Eighth Street was treated and released at the hospital.

Kelly L. Brown, 31, of the 1200 block of Oaklane Road said she was westbound on Jackson at 8:30 a.m. when the windows on her vehicle fogged up. She said she could not see traffic coming and went through the intersection, where her car collided with Davis’ vehicle.

Davis’ vehicle had to be towed.

Brown was cited for failure to stop or yield for a right-of-way sign.
