Olathe girl mauled by dog

A 9-month-old girl suffered dog bite wounds to the head Tuesday evening, Olathe police said today.

The girl was taken to a hospital with serious injuries and a dog was taken from the home to the Olathe animal shelter, they said.

The male Labrador-Boxer mix will remain there pending further investigation, they said.
