Two cars collide at Walnut, Jefferson

A Springfield man was treated and released at St. John’s Hospital after an accident at Walnut and Jefferson streets Tuesday morning.

Angela R. Blackman, 31, of Williamsville said she was westbound on Jefferson and not sure if the light was red or green when her vehicle entered the intersection.
Blackman’s vehicle collided with a northbound vehicle driven by Mark Paris, 46, of the 1700 block of Holmes Avenue. The accident occurred at 9:48 a.m.
Two witnesses reportedly said they saw Blackman run the red light.
