Crash sends several people to hospital

Multiple people involved in a two-vehicle crash on Illinois 104 were taken to St. John’s Hospital on Sunday night.

Illinois State Police said the injuries to the victims were all considered non-life threatening.

The accident occurred on Illinois 104 near the Interstate 55 ramp at 8:46 p.m. Sunday.

Police said the driver of a vehicle heading east on Illinois 104 attempted to turn onto the northbound Interstate 55 ramp, but collided with a vehicle that was westbound.
