KCK multi-vehicle wrecks sends five to hospitals
A wreck on Interstate 70 Monday night involved six vehicles, one that caught on fire, and sent five people to hospitals with serious injuries, Kansas City, Kan., fire officials said today.
It happened on westbound I-70 just west of 59th Street shortly before 10:30 p.m., they said.
Four ambulance units and a fire pumper truck worked the accident. Five people ranging from 3 years to 60 years old were taken to hospitals, firefighters said.
