Motorcycle-truck crash injures two

A man and woman from Rogersville were injured in a crash Sunday after a pickup truck pulled in front of the motorcycle they were riding, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol.

A patrol report said Glenn S. Marcum, 46, the driver of the 2004 Harley Davidson motorcycle, was taken to Cox South hospital in Springfield with serious injuries.

A passenger, Alicia M. Keener, 41, also was taken to Cox South with moderate injuries, the report said.

The crash happened about 1 p.m. on Greene County J, five miles east of Springfield, when a 1995 Chevrolet pickup, driven by Richard A. Barnes, 59, of Rogersville, turned into the path of the bike, according to the report.

Barnes was not listed as injured in the report.

Marcum and Keener were both wearing helmets, and Barnes was wearing a seat belt, the report said.
