Pedestrian injured when struck in Blue Springs

A pedestrian was injured this morning after being struck by a vehicle on Missouri 7 in Blue Springs.

The incident was reported around 7 a.m. on the highway near Southwest Moreland School Road. The pedestrian was taken to a hospital for treatment. Their condition was not known.

Details of how the accident occurred were not immediately available.

Police are continuing their investigation.
