Four kids injured in Bolivar car crash

Six people were injured Monday — four of them children — when a pickup truck crossed the center line and struck a van near Bolivar.

Aqua Underwood, 6, Deacon Underwood, 8, Ocean Underwood, 8, Mary Ward, 8, and Sally Ward, 58, were in a northbound Dodge Caravan on 115th Road when the crash occurred, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

A 1979 Chevrolet pickup, driven by Dustin Stacey, 22, crossed the center line and struck the van, according to the report.

Everyone involved were taken to Citizens Memorial Hospital with minor injuries, according to the report.
