Two people injured in head-on crash in Platte County

A head-on collision that injured two people has closed the Missouri 45 Spur in rural Platte County.

The crash occurred about 5:30 a.m. near the intersection of Stillings Road and the Missouri 45 Spur. The injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening, according to the Platte County Sheriff's office.

The highway was closed in both directions while authorities investigate the collision. It is expected to remain closed for most of this morning's rush hour, according to Kansas City Scout.
