Two vehicles towed after accident

Both vehicles involved in an accident at Ninth Street and South Grand Avenue Wednesday at 1:18 p.m. were towed.

The driver of one of the vehicles, Pamela C. Davis, 20, of the 1500 block of West Selinger Street was taken to St. John’s Hospital, where she was treated and released.

Davis was eastbound on South Grand when she tried to turn north on Ninth. She said the light turned yellow as she entered the intersection.

Janet L. Janssen, 68, of the 1600 block of East Lake Road was westbound on South Grand with a green light when her vehicle collided with Davis’ vehicle.

Davis was cited for an improper left turn with oncoming traffic.
