Two vehicles towed after accident

A 35-year-old woman who said she was motioned out of a parking lot by another driver was hit by an oncoming vehicle Tuesday near MacArthur Boulevard and Laurel Street.

Rebecca L. Keck of New Berlin said she was leaving the McDonald’s parking lot at 1825 S. MacArthur Blvd. when her vehicle was struck by a southbound vehicle, which was driven by Lauren E. Slomer, 19, of Pine Tree Drive.

Keck said she assumed it was clear to leave the parking lot.

Both vehicles were towed. The incident occurred at 8:26 a.m. Tuesday.
