Bicyclist hit in parking lot
A 51-year-old Divernon womanhit a bicyclist with her vehicle as she pulled into her work parking lot Tuesday morning, according to an accident report.
The bicyclist, Peter C. Lazare, 59, of the 800 block of South Lincoln Avenue, was not seriously injured.
Cynthia J. King said she was northbound on Sixth Street approaching Jackson Street and slowed to turn. She said she saw a pedestrian waiting to cross the street but did not see the bicyclist.
The incident occurred at 8:23 a.m. Tuesday.
