Riverton man injured in three-vehicle collision

A 21-year-old Riverton man involved in a three-vehicle crash at Koke Mill Road and Wabash Avenue was taken to the hospital.

Steven T. Koefoed was treated and released from Memorial Medical Center. The crash occurred at 12:36 p.m. Tuesday.

Koefoed said he was southbound on Koke with a green light when his vehicle collided with another vehicle in the intersection, which was driven by Sam K. Fedor, 19, of Waverly.

Fedor said he was westbound on Koke. He reportedly told police he was not sure if he ran a red light.

The impact of the crash pushed Koefoed’s vehicle into a vehicle driven by Andrew P. Woodward, 23, of the 2200 block of Saratoga Drive.
