Young girl struck by car early Sunday in KCK

Early today a girl about 3 years old was struck by a vehicle in the 1600 block of Washington Boulevard, Kansas City, Kan. police said.

She was taken to an area hospital with life threatening injuries.

The girl was in the street and struck before 2 a.m. by a car traveling east, police said.

No further informaiton was available today.

The accident remains under inverstigation by police.
