Samuel M. Wendt

Attorney Samuel Wendt is a founding member of Wendt Goss, P.C. and has dedicated his practice to representing injured people and their families. Mr. Wendt has successfully represented countless people involved in automobile and commercial vehicle accidents, victims of medical malpractice and nursing home negligence, and wrongful death claims. He has also represented hundreds of clients injured by defective medical devices and pharmaceuticals, such as Diet Pills, Guidant and Medtronic Defibrillators, Vioxx, Avandia, and Yaz/Yasmin, to name a few.

Mr. Wendt was the youngest attorney named by the Kansas City Business Journal as “Best of the Bar” in 2008 and was included again in 2009 and 2010. He was also selected as one of Kansas and Missouri’s “Super Lawyers” by Law and Politics in 2008, 2009, and 2010.  Also in 2010, Mr. Wendt was recognized by Missouri Lawyers Weekly as one of Missouri’s “Up & Coming” attorneys.

Mr. Wendt is a member, in good standing, of the Kansas, Missouri, and Illinois state courts. He is also a member of the following United States District Courts: District of Kansas, Western and Eastern Districts of Missouri, and Central and Southern Districts of Illinois. Mr. Wendt is actively involved in several charitable and professional organizations, including the Missouri Bar, the American Association for Justice, the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, and the Brain Injury Association of Missouri, Inc. In 2009, he graduated from the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association’s Bar Leadership Academy and currently sits on the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association’s Board of Directors.

Mr. Wendt has published numerous articles and chapters and made several presentations concerning his area of practice to companies and organizations, including the Missouri Bar; Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association; Forum on the Construction Industry, American Bar Association; and National Business Institute.

Mr. Wendt received a Bachelor of Science degree in Cellular Biology from the University of Kansas and his Juris Doctor degree from Washburn University School of Law. His background has proved quite valuable in handling complex litigation. Throughout his career, Mr. Wendt has maintained close contact with his clients, and their families, to ensure that their legal needs are fully met. Since serious injuries can often alter people's entire lives, Mr. Wendt works tirelessly to help his clients receive fair compensation for what's been lost.




Peter E. Goss

Attorney Peter Goss is a founding member of Wendt Goss, P.C. and has been practicing in the areas of personal injury and mass tort litigation for several years. Mr. Goss has represented and obtained favorable results for numerous victims of automobile collisions, slip and fall accidents, severe burn injuries, railroad accidents, and others. Mr. Goss has also represented hundreds of clients in mass tort litigation, including those injured by Guidant and Medtronic Defibrillators, the Ortho Evra Birth Control Patch, the Kugel Hernia Patch, Vioxx, and Yaz/Yasmin, to name a few. In his practice, Mr. Goss has maintained a dedication to client interaction and has worked tirelessly to ensure that his clients are fairly compensated for their injuries.

In 2009, Mr. Goss was the youngest attorney named by the Kansas City Business Journal as “Best of the Bar,” which is chosen by a panel of accomplished Kansas City-area attorneys.

Mr. Goss is a member, in good standing, of the Kansas, Missouri, and New Jersey state courts. He is also a member of the United States District Courts for the Districts of Kansas, Missouri, and New Jersey. Mr. Goss is actively involved in several chartable and professional organizations, including the American Association for Justice, the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, and Stand Down for Veterans, and he holds leadership positions in many of these organizations. In 2010, Mr. Goss will graduate from the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association’s Bar Leadership Academy, which is designed to enhance skills to become a leader in service to the legal profession and the overall community.

Mr. Goss has also conducted many lectures and presentations and authored many articles regarding his practice, including:

After receiving his undergraduate degree in Business Marketing and Analysis from the University of Kansas, Mr. Goss attended Washburn School of Law in Topeka, Kansas. While in law school, Mr. Goss worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Charles E. Atwell of the 16th Judicial Circuit (Jackson County) of Missouri. While working with Judge Atwell, Mr. Goss gained incredible experience and developed a true empathy for victims of horrific accidents. Since he began practicing law, Mr. Goss has helped victims and their families gain compensation for the losses they have experienced. Mr. Goss truly enjoys the interaction with his clients and fighting for the rights of those he represents.
